OFDM Modem for Wireless and Wired Communication

Digital intercom based on OFDM modemOur embedded modem is based on proprietary core technology for wired or wireless data links based on the industry's most advanced C-OFDM modem implementation boasting an efficiency greater than 10bits/s/Hz.
Typical use cases include data links over the air (mobile, portable, or stationary), or in existing infrastructure, e.g. 4-wire lines, coax cables, power lines, sub-sea cables, twisted pairs, and even barb wires.
Applications include intercoms (audio, video, data), ad-hoc disaster communication, industrial control, telemetry and monitoring, WAN extensions, kiosks and remote access control (DECS - Digital Entry Control System).

The field-proven algorithm is extremely robust and available for catalog signal processors such as SHARC and fixed-point DSP.

Modem hardware with complete infrastructure and software is available for integration into target applications. The modem algorithm is also available for licensing as object code for SHARC, Blackfin and and Texas Instruments DSP.

A link (P2P) consists of two identical units, the local unit being connected to a local network access point (e.g. Ethernet), the remote unit being automatically integrated into the local network in a completely transparent fashion.

Point-to-multi-Point operation is also possible.
