SMARC i.MX6 System-on-Module
The IGEP SMARC iMX6 is an industrial low-power system-on-module (SoM) based on Single, DualLite, Dual or Quad core NXP i.MX6 processors clocked at speeds up to 1200MHz.
These modules enable system architects to implement a passively cooled system, ideal for portable and stationary embedded devices.
As a complementary product, an expansion board (IGEP SMARC EXPANSION) to expedite development of the target application is also available.
RAM options include 512MB, 1GB or 2GB DDR3, with eMMC flash ROM options of 4GB or 8GB.
All SoM versions come with an abundance of interfaces including GigE, USB2.0 Host/OTG, HDMI for Displays, a MIPI camera interface, Bluetooth (optional), WiFi (optional), CAN, SATA, PCIe 2.0 and many more.
A breakout board with many of the interfaces mentioned above available on standard connectors simplifies application development without the need to develop any user hardware at all.
